Getting your full security deposit back starts with leaving your rental spotless. Landlords and property managers inspect closely, and even small oversights can cost you hundreds. Here is exactly what needs to be cleaned.

Kitchen

  • Clean inside the oven, including racks and the oven door glass
  • Scrub the stovetop, burner grates, and drip pans until grease-free
  • Wipe down all cabinet fronts, inside shelves, and drawers
  • Clean the refrigerator inside and out, including shelves and crisper drawers
  • Clean the dishwasher interior and filter
  • Scrub the sink and polish the faucet
